I want to make as much as I can before the baby comes. The first kid came early and we didn’t get a chance to meal prep…it would have been a huge help.

This time I want to have some things, breakfast, sides, lunch, dinner. Where all I need to do is defrost, heat/cook, and eat.

Can you share your ideas, experience, links, etc?

Thanks in advance!

Question, when is a good time to start prepping/freezing? Due in April and I’m wondering if I should start in March or February?

Well I have anxiety about not being ready because baby #1 came at 36 weeks.

So I would say if you have a chest freezer and the space, probably like 6-8 weeks out. We’re a month out and I’m going to go full blast this weekend because we just got the chest freezer Monday & the FoodSaver Saturday.

honestly I’m gonna be making 1-2 meals for the freezer per week from here on out, and I’m 33 weeks along. I’m also planning on doing 1-2 bigger prep days when I’m a little closer to the finish line and my sister is here just to round things out! But I just got my chest freezer this week, if I had it before it would have been super nice to start earlier! So if you have the freezer space, I’d start somewhere between 28-30 weeks, since I know I probably won’t have tons of extra energy at the end!
