Congratulations!!! I also ran Philly yesterday and thought the same thing about the announcer - I was in the orange corral and didn’t know when we were actually starting. Also, the portapotty lines were outrageously long. This was my first marathon but I feel like each one I passed had at least 5-10 people waiting! Not sure if that’s normal but they did send out an email saying they didn’t have enough medals for everyone due to an unprecedented number of people signing up last minute! So maybe that’s also why?
