Can anyone suggest a non-greasy and affordable paleo body lotion for very dry skin?

I have very dry skin (due to past use of accutane - never again). Heavy Eucerin-type lotions tend to be the only ones that work well for me, but the ingredients list is sketchy.

I’m on a budget, so the fancy, 40$ paleo creams are not feasible for me. I’ve tried using coconut oil and other oils in the past, but the problem is that when I use them as an entire body moisturizer, I often end up getting grease stains on my clothes. Any suggestions?

An added caveat is that I don’t want to use animal fat - though I suspect it would be equally as greasy.

I’ve made my own; coconut oil, shea butter, jojoba oil, glycerine, essentials oils, vitamin E, aloe vera, rose water, mango butter, beeswax, etc. Any of those, find a balance you like. Less coconut oil. Check website https://mountainroseherbs.com for ideas, ingredients, they have great organic clean products. Out of Eugene, Oregon I believe. Beeswax pellets need to be melted on very low temp. They are good for homemade deodorants. They will harden your mixture when cool. Shea butter will give you more creaminess.

This sounds great! Do you have to worry about it staining your clothes, or does it absorb pretty quickly and not stain? I’ve found that straight coconut oil stains.

I haven’t noticed, but need to let it dry after applying. I live in sweats so probably why I don’t notice if it does, Lol Yeah I don’t like it too greasy either.
