I make dehydrated backpacking meals at home and one of my favorites is bacon egg and cheese grits. Wouldn’t need to dehydrate, it could easily be stored in the fridge or freezer and you could modify with whatever mix ins you want.
Recipe:
Heat until boiling
5cups milk
salt
pepper
2 tablespoon butter
Add, stiring constantly
2 cups quick cook grits
6 beaten eggs
Reduce heat, add and cook a few minutes until grits are done
3/4 cup bacon bits
teaspoon hot sauce
1 cup grated sharp cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
I also suggest seasoning with your favorite Cajun seasoning to taste
