It’s a week until MARATHON TIME for me! Did 13 ks today and I’m done with the training plan! I really wonder how this one will turn out. It will be my 3rd. I’ve done two just under 4 hours. What’s worrying me now is that running has been mega hard the last couple of weeks. I haven’t enjoyed it one bit. Is this normal?
I’ve done Hal Higdon’s novice 2, so not crazy mileage. This is the plan that’s previously successfully taken me to two sub 4s, so it should be ok…
I have done every single long run and almost all of the midweek runs. (A handful of times over the last 16 weeks life has just gotten in the way, but I have given it my best!)
I feel slow, heavy and tired. My husband says I was like this the last two times too, but I honestly can’t remember…
Any helpful and encouraging words are appreciated! I hope at least I’ll be able to see the finish line. Surely I will be able to jog my way through after all this training…
