Hello everyone!

I found a cool recipe for breakfast and am not entirely sure, if you can bulk make it for the future.

The recipe consists of:

oats, banana, eggwhite, cacao powder and then mix it up good, put it in a pan and cook it until its nice crispy.

Since there is eggwhite and banana in it, I am note sure if I can just bulk prep it to not have to do that every morning I want it.

Thanks :)

Grind your oats in a nutribullet so it’s flour. Mash the banana first then add other two, usually oats and whites in 1/1 ratio Top with Greek yogurt and frozen blueberries and Walden farms syrup

The eggwhite makes that a tough question. I’ve never soaked anything in egg white in the fridge for days…

Could you possibly mix the egg white in the day of?

You could probably cook a bunch of them and then freeze them, and then heat them up when you want to eat them.

I’m not sure about keeping a raw egg and banana mix in your fridge for over a day, that feels risky to me. When doing bulk prep I generally try and keep dry separate from wet when it comes to ingredients. Once you’ve mixed stuff together, the whole thing is only good for as long as it takes for the fastest thing to go off to go off, which can be pretty quick.

I was assuming he was using liquid egg whites, which are pasteurized and safe to remain raw.
