Thankful for running. And people coming into the sport (one of my neighbors just started run-walking this morning, this is a good thing).

Thankful for beer, pizza and donuts… and good bands. Post race after parties would be nothing without those.

Thankful for good podcasts, good music, and good headphones to entertain me during those miles.

Thankful for Complaints and Confessions threads so I have an outlet to bitch about sky-high race prices to people who understand and side with me.

Complaint: a 9:00 AM meeting on the first day back in the office after two days at a conference is too early.

Uncomplaint: My running weather so far this week. I don’t remember Monday, that may have been cold, I had to skip Tuesday due to travel, Wednesday was running in Orlando so it was warm, and it was in the 60s this morning. Of course tomorrow is probably going to be -273F.

Confession: I hate it when conferences are not near great places to run. I’d prefer to not run along very wide, very high speed suburban thoroughfares.

Not Under Armor. I have a pair of their gloves and my fingers freeze when it’s below 40.
