Confession: I bought Garmin Forerunner 255 a couple of weeks ago, for total $320 including the value of some rewards points at the store I bought it from.
Complaint: I found a Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic at my local Walmart for $99. As much as I like the Garmin telling me I’m almost 10 years younger than my real age, I don’t think it justifies the extra $300. But the Samsung watch doesn’t let me use a chest strap heart rate monitor. 😣
Uncomplaint: I managed to return the Garmin watch yesterday. The cashier couldn’t refund the points so I got my money back, plus the cash value of the points. That totally covers the cost of the Samsung watch, so it’s like I got it free with points. 🥳
I’m going out to get some hand warmers this afternoon. It’s already cold here in Ontario, and tomorrow morning it’s supposed to be around -4°C. ❄️❄️❄️ Frozen hands are so unpleasant so the warmers will be a nice help during my 21 km (or more if I’m feelin’ it) run.
