11 months agoI recommend starting with podcasts. I race without headphones for the most part but I listen to podcasts or audiobooks to train. Just feels like you’re listening to friends chatter about something, which simulates a lot of what you’re going to hear on a race day.
The second part. I don’t understand why so many people think running underfueled is an accomplishment. I feel like everything, from the run itself to recovery, sucks way less when I am fueled well. This doesn’t need to suck - just drink the water lol.
