Hello, I’m currently trying to gain some weight, but due to me having a very fast metabolism it’s kinda hard. I’m currently changingy and started with breakfast were I eat overnight oats which gives me good amount of calories for my goal to eat 4000 a day. My problem is that I eat a second breakfast in school but I don’t know what I could eat because I need something that can be prepared at the beginning of the week, has at least 600 calories and can be eaten cold. I researched various meals but because chicken and tuna isnt affordable where I live and I’m allergic to peanuts it’s kinda hard to find something. I also thought about eating the oats in school and preparing something at home.because I have more time so if you have any tips I would appreciate it

What food do you like cold. Take that. Doesn’t need to be breakfast food. You can also eat oats twices.

    Or just have a shake.

Almost anything can be eaten cold if it’s cooked prior. That’s how i usually have my leftovers - can’t bother heating if hungry.

Can you eat other types of nuts? Nuts have a lot of nutritional value and are also calorie dense.

Otherwise try some other calorie dense food like full fat dairy (milk, yogurt, cheese), avocado, and dried fruit.

Also, you probably don’t have a fast metabolism, youre just young

Are you allergic to other nuts? or too expensive?

Maybe have a shake in the morning with a bunch of stuff in it and save the overnight oats for second breakfast.
