Good Morning All,

One of my friends coming for Friendsgiving tomorrow abides by paleo, and I just need some input since I’m going shopping today after Black Friday maddness.

  1. I am ordering a separate meal for her from a place she regulars, and I’m making a paleo recipe for banana bread for her as well. So I’m looking for either boxed snacks (if there are any) or easy snacks I can make for her to nosh on before dinner.

  2. I have a veggie platter with tomato, carrots, celery, and broccoli, but I’m positive the provided ranch dip is not paleo, so a dip suggestion or easy recipe would be helpful.

  3. I’m doing a charcuterie board and looking for a good goat cheese recommendation and a cracker recommendation.

  4. For drinks, I have a Polar seltzer variety pack, and I was going to take a crack at making a paleo lemonade. Is there anything else I’m missing that would be a tasty treat drink wise? A mocktail anyone even can recommend?

  5. Is there anything else I’m not thinking of?

Thank you in advance for any insight!! Also, please feel free to provide constructive criticism of any of my pre-made plans!!

Simple Mills almond crackers, Mary’s Gone Crackers (misc seeds), and Flackers (flax seeds) are all delicious.

Any soft goat cheese is fine. Get a jumbo log and mix half of it with herbs and the other half keep plain.

Murray’s Rembrandt gouda is incredible (buttery, nutty, hints of parmesan) and so is Sartori Montmore Smooth & Creamy Cheddar. The cheddar is crumbly, rich, salty, and, yes, creamy.

If you don’t feel like making dip, Primal Kitchen makes a variety of paleo dips. They can be found in most grocery stores, particularly the bougie ones lol

It sounds like youve got snacks and drinks pretty well covered though, veggies and charcuterie are great

It would depend on the friend, though it sounds like you know them well. Personally, I couldn’t have anything with flavour like those seltzers, I couldn’t eat any processed meats, definitely no cheese…

Boxed snacks depend on where you live. For crackers, there are a few options, but I enjoy Mary’s Super Seed crackers most.

An appetizer I always like to make is this Smoked Salmon Cucumber Bites with Cashew Cream Cheese.

Nice to hear a friend putting in so much work. I could never eat anywhere or trust anyone so I bring my own food everywhere.
