On one hand, free shirt that I have figured out how to work into my personal style.
On another hand, it says American Red Cross on it. Worried about coming off like I’m trying to subtly brag about how wonderful and special I am for donating, oh look guys, I volunteer, don’t you all wish you were like me/you all suck for doing less than me and I’m more virtuous.
But then again, how can anyone donate if they do not know or remember the option exists? I had to be asked to come along to donate by a friend to remember donating was even an option, and if she never asked me I might have instead been set down the path of donating regularly by seeing a blood donation shirt or something. I am not the type of person who likes to wear brand logos. I am usually of the mind of “pay me to advertise your stuff”. But blood donation is an actual cause I’d be happy to promote publicly.

If people judge you for wearing a blood donator shirt that says more about them than it says about you.
