Hurt a lot more than usual during needle insert. First time where 1) my arms felt discomfort during the donation and 2) nothing bad happened, the donation completed normally. On the bright side though, I hydrated on purpose for this and saw a payoff, and my hemoglobin was high enough despite me forgetting to take my iron pills.
