Running YouTubers though, I think they have their place. Nick Symmonds makes Mr. Beast-like videos where he gives away cash for running/fitness challenges and I find the videos mostly irritating influencer slop. BUT, that channel is what got my boys excited about running. Even now that they’ve lost interest in those videos, they still love to run.
This is totally anecdotal, but where running was once just a neat thing they did with Dad sometimes, it’s now both their chosen sport. An influencer deserves some of the credit for that and that’s cool with me.
