Any controversial/unpopular opinion that you may have in regards to running

My hot take is that Adidas shoes > Nike

Exactly, I have never been surprised by a vehicle in the dark and rarely during the day.

Run on the left and assume they couldn’t see a fucking disco ball and you’re good. Go behind the car waiting to turn right, get off the road if you see headlights approaching, everyone is turning even if there’s no turn signal, etc. Also, no headphones ever. Easy peasy.

I always run against traffic, always have and remove myself from the roadway when a car approaches. Which is the law in my state to do so “where able”.

Depends where, I run in a city at night on footpaths and by the river and only need to cross at traffic lights, why on earth would I need reflective gear?

It’s helpful to be visible to other pedestrians and cyclists as well as to vehicle drivers.

Yes especially the ones that run in the middle of busy cycle paths.

I must admit that I sometimes ask them if they want to die when I cycle past them.
