I’m three months into running and everything is going really well! However, yesterday I sprained my ankle. I’m demoralized thinking about the few weeks/month off that are ahead. Google seems to say fitness drops off pretty quick :/ How do y’all deal with injuries? Had my first 10 mile run planned this Sunday, so bummed I can’t do it
Uuuugh ankle sprains are the worst. They are sooo stubborn to heal. I would definitely recommend getting checked out by a doc because there’s a chance something could be broken/chipped or torn. It is so disappointing to get injured but the best thing you can do for your running is take recovery seriously (easier said than done lol!). My condolences :(
