I’m happy to hear that you’ve turned your health around. I’m a stroke nurse, so I work with stroke patients and patients who have TIAs every day. I’m glad you just had a TIA and now have a second chance at moving forward. Such great news!

I’m thankful for my health and being able to run. Running brings me so much peace and joy and I never want to take my body for granted. I was injured for a few weeks after my marathon and I’m finally back to normal. Huzzah! Happy thanksgiving, everyone!
Agreed, especially now. We had a big group run on Saturday at 0700. It’s been 0700 all summer, which is understandable due to the heat, but come on, it’s November…can we make it at least between 0800-0900?! Let people sleep in!
People who can’t talk about anting beyond running. My run club held an activity outside the run club day and no one could about anything except for running! We went to a fall festival type of thing at a brewery since the leader wanted to do events beyond the run club. I tried asking people about their other interests, life, etc, but most of the time the topic just reverted back to running. Bleh.
I was debating if I wanted to sign up for the DC rock n roll. One of my best friend’s is in Alexandria, so I figured I could make a nice 3 day weekend out of it. I’m glad to see it’s recommended. This will be my race to keep me trained and going through the winter when I don’t want to get outside and run.
