Confession: I haven’t run at all this week. I’ve wanted to, but just haven’t been able to get out the door. It’s kind of depressing.
Complaint: I’m back to work this week after being on parental leave for the last 6 weeks. How the fuck do I live in a “First World” country that thinks we only need need 6-12 weeks at reduced pay to help bond and create better humans. I also love when people bitch to me that they got no time off when they had their child and that I should be grateful for what I have, which I totally am. But I’m also angered to know that we give mega tax breaks to people that don’t need them and don’t take care of our own citizens. s
This is why liquid carbs are so great. You don’t feel so bloated but you get hooked up with the glycogen.
