Shoes…though can absolutely make things more enjoyable or even much less enjoyable…don’t actually make you a better runner. You make you a better runner, shoes are just pretty fashion accessories that we justify buying by pretending the “2%” increase means something below the ELITE levels.
Also me: just bought another pair of shoes. So maybe don’t listen to me 🤷♂️
