  • Complaint: shin splint still hurt. Increasing cadence is an interesting experience but maintaining a high cadence while staying in zone 2 is a tough game to play.

    Confession: I still run despite my shin splints. If they get worse I will stop running but for now, I have decided to run through them. Learning a lot about stretches, foam rolling etc I also think I am starting to be “addicted” to running and suffer from withdrawal during rest days. So stopping running because of shin splint sounds like a terrible experience.
