11 months agoIt’s less healthy to be an underfueled runner than a sedentary person. There is so much idolization of thinness and undeerating and overtraining and that causes real, lasting harm for people. You can be sedentary and overweight and that might be better for you than to be an underfueled athlete with constant stress fractures/whose losing bone mass/etc.
Congrats!!! Just FYI, running two weeks without rest days as a new runner might lead to injury. Intentional rest days will prevent unwanted forced rest from injuries as your muscles, joints, and bones adjust to the impact of running.
