Any controversial/unpopular opinion that you may have in regards to running

My hot take is that Adidas shoes > Nike

If you pause your watch at stoplights, you’re really just pretending to be faster than you are. Not sure if this is normal but my friends do this lol.

Dude… no. Just no. I upvoted you but why the hell would you not stop it? You aren’t running!!!

I hate getting stopped because obviously it makes it easier with a break but ultimately nobody should really care about the training runs, it’s the races that matter

Idk i like having accurate data on my heart rate + recovery and i feel like i’m able to train more honestly if that makes sense (i.e. is goal pace too agro). Generally i try to do routes through parks or other places i won’t need to stop too often or will just follow the green lights and not really have a route.

Stopping the time is ridiculous especially when most smartwatches have elapsed time and moving time data. Seems like extra work for very little reward.
